In a way yes, you're right.

yeah, seriously. If I can say anything about this now, it seems like it wasn't Miruru who was bad in the first place..

Twelve's a good number. It's the year before everyone expects a whole bunch out of you. DDDDDDDDD:

Well she seems smart for her age, and I think that's cool. Yes, the words Mari and the others were saying were a little.... look upable so to speak. >>;

nope. I just don't like reading aloud. Anyways, she's been educated enough, I hope, because she was scolded after the incidence. I don't think she will do it anymore, and I hope not. I can't do anything about the art thefts at the moment, but I'm sure she will learn...someday. All I can ask you is to tell your friends to ignore her if any of them are flamed. Apparently, she is enjoying this too much. I don't want her to be even more encouraged. I make it sound like it's your fault, but I'm not. By reading the messages, I figure that you acted the most maturely... I just want this settled, and I was getting nervous that the others were saying words that were inappropriate for her. It's very hard to ignore a flame, but it's all anyone can do at the moment :(

whatever I am ignoring you

Well, just look at it in another situation. If a child… I dunno… sticks up their middle finger or something…. Someone needs to tell them that that’s not right. I’m not just saying in flaming wise, I don’t mean to seem like a bully, but someone needs to tell them whether their tolerance with the situation is high or low, someone needs to tell them. And with that, the child can use this for future reference. Like, before they begin to yell at this guy for… I dunno having a shirt of something they don’t like, they just look and think so in their head. I mean, I don’t think Mari and the rest of her friends did exactly what was right. Obscure language, calling her names, being sarcastic with her, etc. Possibly, a kinder route, one in which something is actually learned. I don’t believe my route was the best example, but something that I thought would help make an impact somehow. Something that would make her want to stop and realize what she was doing, just as I do at times. But, you’re saying she’s less intelligent because she is younger, but that’s what I attempted to do, educate her. Give her the knowledge. I don’t mean to be rude to her, and I don’t mean to baby her, I just did as someone older would have. Just like I stated in the above, if a child stuck up their middle finger or… I dunno, didn’t wear their seat belt and caused their parents a ticket ( -points to myself- XD ) then they need to be told what they did wrong. I only commented because neither Mari, nor any of her friends were telling Mariru what she was doing wrong. Also, I can’t stand when people say their art is better than others. >.< And art theft isn’t really…. Well it’s art theft. >>; But I wouldn’t expect her to understand art theft as much, so I didn’t make a huge deal about it.

Sorry if I write too much.

I do understand your point, because I will probably say something sharp to a person if she/he flamed me. If the person was an 8 year old, or something like this case, I try to keep out of it. The image is bad; an older kid bullying a younger one. No matter what the younger kid did, the older kid must ignore him/her. It's not mature to go bully someone like that, considering how much stronger (or, in this case, how much more intelligent) the older kid is.

I don't mind it because everyone, or almost everyone, has that sharp point to say at times, especially if you're younger, just make sure they know it's not all that good. Sure, one time I flamed this one girl for hacking into my neopets guild and destroying everything. But that was when I was about her age... 8 or 9. I dunno. What i should have done is shrugged and went on with life I suppose. Or someone that was making fun of me, I flamed her also. I don't believe it's a hobby of hers, no, just provocation, but provocation....well....sometimes you have to resist the temptation.

I believe that the worst thing that can happen to an 8-year old is being ignored. I was surprised when I heard of this because she never did this before. It's not her hobby or anything; even I can't figure out what her intentions were. If it was to get more attention, she's succeeding, with the help of others.

XD Yeah!~ I'm so happy!~ I'm legal for a bunch load of stuff!~ Like the PG-13 movies or... sites like these that ask if you're 13 or older. I'm 14 actually but most of the time I feel like I'm 14 going on 5 y'know? XD

But you know Miruru, I acted like you when I was about your age... but in the middle months of being 9 someone gave me about the same speech I gave you. And y'know... people always thought I was older than 9, cause I was an excellent speller also. 030

Listen, if you don't address the problem then they'll keep on doing it, and eventually it'll come back to other people, maybe even myself. It happens all the time, even if I don't say a word. So I figure it's time to get the point across, because I don't really agree with how Mari is doing it. In fact, this is how I realized what I was doing wrong. Yes, I did something similar to what Miruru is doing and it took me someone who was telling me I wasn't doing right to put me down on the ground again.

Also, the more mature thing to do is adress the problem, as I stated earlier. It just matters how you go about doing it. Hey, maybe I'm not doing it right either, but an attempt is an attempt.

I was asked to read the other boring messages and pretty much know what is going on. Well, please stop it. Your lectures are just adding to her fun, and so are the sarcasm of the others. Please do not encourage her. The only person that should be telling her these things is the person she flamed. I am wondering who is the more immature now, you or miruru or the others. I believe that if you were mature enough, you wouldn't bother others like this over some small thing. She may keep on doing it if you don't stop. Stop contributing to the irony, and your troubles will be gone. if they were your troubles in the first place.

I SAID! "I don't care if you're on here, but atleast act mature enough." And in that manner, that suggests that I know many that are not 13 and on this site, but they act mature and so I treat them with respect. In fact, they're my friends here on dA.

Ok, fine you're nine now, happy belated, but the rules still apply. Truly, I can care less about the rules, just please, please, please, act a little more mature. I mean, what was the reason you flamed that picture? What was your goal? What was the purpose?

whoah!! Can you repeat that plz? I asked my sis to read it for me, but she said no. I'm not 8, I'm 9 now, and a lot of other people here are not 13 yet. Do you go reprimanding (hehe. I wanted to use that word. It's so cool!!) everyone who seems to be younger? You're so funny!! I luv u!! :D :D :D
~Tenjilover:iconTenjilover: May 15, 2008, 5:10:50 PM
Listen you. I'm not going to be sarcastic about anything here. Sorry if it sounds like I'm babying you but...if you're 8 years old you shouldn't be on here, especially if you're going around acting like a two year old. I don't care if you're on here, but atleast act mature enough. I know it's not fair but you must be 13 or older to be on here or else your account gets suspended or banned (whatever). Not to mention that lying about your age isn't all that good. There's some... stuff on this site, and this stuff can be innapropriate for you, no matter how mature you think you are. Again, sorry if it sounds like I'm babying you.

Also, never tell someone that you draw better than them, even if you do, or don't. That's not what this site is for, and it's not what it's about. And if you think this is all some attention thing then stop it. You reply to these people such as, "Thank you but please call off your sarcasm," or ,"Sorry for upseting your community of peers," etc. Though, I respect the fact that you say thank you instead of flaming people back, atleast on your page.

Also, the dA community has a low tolerance for art theft. So, don't do it. This also applies to flaming. I don't care if you're enjoying this, just stop it.

At least no one is worse than you. Face it, you'll never get better. I'm 8 years old, and I draw better than you on traditional.
